Hillary supporters - who are you voting for now?
Sorry for the political poll, I know it's a hot topic around here, but I'm genuinely interested. For those of you that supported Hillary Clinton, who are you voting for now?
Please don't feel you have to explain yourself, although I've seen how these threads turn. I'm just hoping to keep this clean so it doesn't get pulled immediately.

I was debating crossing party lines- but I just can't do it
if McCain chose someone more middle of the road- I could have- but his VP choice scares me
so I am voting for Obama

I was giving thought to voting for McCain, although I probably would have ended up going with Obama anyway. Now, I won't even consider McCain because of his choice of running mate.

I swore I wouldn't vote for Obama and would vote McCain, but the moment he chose Palin, that all ended.
I am now planning on going out and campaigning for Obama. I am that afraid of Palin and her views.

Same here... I am having a really hard time though because I don't really feel either of the tickets represent a good choice.

I really, really, really, really don't want to vote for Obama. I'm not "getting over it" -- I'm still angry and I still feel Obama should have waited four years, gained attention for his actual EXPERIENCE and then ran.
As much as I dream of seeing a woman in the White House or even VP, I can't vote for Palin on a ticket at this time. Like Obama, she's not experienced enough to be VP to a 72-year-old president, IMHO, and I think she's too much of a wild card.
Ralph Nader keeps sending me nice e-mails. This morning's message included part of a cookie recipe.

I didn't select McCain b/c of Palin, but could understand it because of wanting to FINALLY see a woman in executive office in this country.
Heck, if he'd chosen a different woman, I may well be voting for him.
A true maverick would have selected Hillary and completely blown Obama out of the water.

Many Hillary supporters are voting for McCain b/c McCain is only going to be pres. for one term - Hillary is going to run again and she will win this time.

I will vote for Obama and didnt feel particularly inspired by him - I feel much better about voting for him after he picked Biden, but I would have voted for him anyway.

I am voting for Obama because his views are very similar to Clinton's. The reason I supported Clinton over Obama in the primaries was I liked Clinton's environmental policies better - but they both are on par on with the majority of my views on most issues. To vote for McCain would go against my views on most issues.

I'm surprised that any Hillary supporter would vote McCain/Palin since they are against most of the positions she stood for.
And women who would vote for Palin because she is a woman are exactly the voters they are going after. It is patronizing to think that they think women would vote that way instead of paying attention to the issues.

ITA! That irritates me so much. I'm not such a 2 dimensional person. Sorry, I vote at every election, and I actually THINK.
I seriously think this nomination, with the subsequent GOP pundit comments of 'everyone is picking on her' shows many individuals true mysogenistic colors. If she is treated fairly, she WILL be challenged. Women aren't weak. They're up for the challenge. She's a big girl. Quit the whining and sexist accusations.
