...leg warmers?!
hey. i have a question. my mother-in-law bought me 5 pairs of leg warmers from england ((in different colors)) and since it's getting kind of chilly these days i wanted to start to wear them. she said they were really popular in that country, but... what do i wear them with ((what shoes, shirts, pants)) and is it even in style anymore here in america or did it go out with the 80's? help! 
ps-i'm not going to wear them for dance.

I can't help, I wore them for dancing!  I'd wear them around the house (our apt gets cold) or if i was going sleigh riding or skiiing.

I've done that too. Alsd If I was wearing leggings with a sweater dress I'd put them on over them, but then I would have uggs over that as well so you would only se thetop of them. I get cold outside in the winter. THis was the extra layer I needed instead of wearing 3 layers of pants

that is such a fantastic idea! i own uggs and i never even thought to do that! thank you SO much for the idea!
 You will be so warm. i'm one to have worn several layers of pants in the winter (stockings, leggings, pants over both) I got a thick pair of leg warmers because they were cheap and cute and I swear it was the best thing I bought last winter (after uggs)With the right length sweater people won't even know its leg warmers just really thick leggings.

I just got this month's Cosmo and the fashion section was FULL of leg warmers under boots (just peaking out the top). I thought they looked pretty cute.

I would wear them with leggings, or skinny jeans.

in the new issue of cosmo I saw some pictures with leg warmers (over jeans, under boots but you can see them etc).. maybe it is the new thing coming over
