Just for laughs

What's the funniest or strangest thing someone's said or done to you while you are preggo?

I can't remember anything really weird for me, but at a previous job, the president used to bend over and "talk" to my colleague's belly, but it looked like he was talking to her crotch!

Re: Just for laughs

I cant think of much right now but one of the attorneys I work with called down the hall of the office to me and yelled "Hey you just can't stop eating those Big Macs, huh?"
(Meaning I was gaining weight...)

A child asked me to lift up my shirt so he can see the baby. I told him that the baby was IN my belly and he said "I know just lift up your shirt so I can see her eyes."

cute! Mine's along the same lines...

I'm a kindergarten teacher and one of my kids asked me last week if I knew if the baby is a boy or girl. I said no and then she said "why don't you just ask it!" Chat Icon Kids are too cute!

This reminded me... When I was pregnant with Sarah we were getting an estimate for some work on the nursery and the salesperson was a woman. I was obviously pregnant at that point and we kept referring to the room at the nursery. She told us this long story (like 30 mins) on how she's allergic to her own hormones and she gets really sick every month when she gets her period and then when she was pregnant she had violent morning sickness all the time, was hospitalized for losing so much weight, on and on and on about how awful childbirth was and how I'd never want to go through it again. I thought DH was going to pass out, he was mortified to hear about this woman's monthly issues. What possess people?

Re: Just for laughs

With my first I had a few little girls( maybe about 7 or 8 years old) touch my tummy and tell me I had a baby in there... ME NOT KNOWING I was pregnant at the time told them there was no baby in there and actually felt sad that they probably were calling me fat..lol
Turns out a few weeks later I was about 2 months pregnant..

It was very weird.

Re: Just for laughs

A four year old girl came with her mother to my gym when I was about 7 months pg. Her mother pointed to my stomach and said "there is a little baby in Marisa's stomach"... And the little girl came up to me and said "Can she come out to play?" LOL!!! It was the cutest thing ever!!!
