New
Hi, i'm new and I have a question. Is it possible to have AF even though you think you may be pregnant? I don't have a normal cycle and I have AF but the flow is not normal, it is very light but dark color. It normally is heavy but this is wayyyy different. It's as if it's not here. Anyone have experience with this?

Re: New
Yes it is. While not common, I have read that it is possible to be PG and still get AF .
I agree with Cheryl, I would a HPT to make sure you are or are not PG.

Re: New
You could be pregnant and 'spotting"....You can't get "af' when pregnant,...but you can spot.....which is very typical. I would take a hpt. Is the blood....red or brown...orangish ? How is it different than your typical AF ?

Re: New
You can bleed when you are pg. This happened to my sister. My suggestion is to take a HPT or see a doctor if you feel you may be pg. GL!

Re: New
I just took a test on Friday and it was negative however, i have not had af since the end of february until yesterday. The color is dark brown, it is normally much redder but it's not heavy at all which is weird, I normally have it heavy at least by the second day which is today.

Re: New
Theres really no way to tell, have your Dr run a blood test, its the only way to be 100% sure.
I know two women who thought they had AF when they were PG, it was PG bleeding( healthy babies born), and they assumed it was a weird cycle...
so you could get what you think if AF and be heavy yet not AF..
GOOD LUCK!
