Easiest Pot Roast Ever...
Get a big pot roast. I like the Bottom Round or the Rump Roast at least 4lbs +. Stop and Shop has them on sale this week!
Brown it on all sides and place in crock pot.
Season with Lipton's onion soup mix or garlic powder, onion powder and some black pepper.
Pour about 1 cup or so of Beef Broth into the cooker. I like Pacific Naturals Beef Broth - really great flavor.
Cook on low for about 7 hours or so if you like it well done.
I then make Pepper Steak the next day with leftovers. I use the recipe on the back of the Campbell's Beef gravy label.
Yum!
