Supposed to start raining real bad tomorrow afternoon, possibly into Saturday.
This will s*ck for all those who have tix for the last games at Shea, especially those, including myself, who have tix for the game on Sunday.
If the game tomorrow night (vs. the Cubs) gets rained out, they HAVE to make it up - because it effects the pennant and wild card races. The earliest they could make that up would be Monday, making THAT game, the final regular season game at Shea. I'm praying they don't move all the ceremonies to Monday, if that happened. Some of us paid a pretty penny for tix for Sunday
If Friday gets rained out, they'll be a double header at some point that weekend. If the double header gets played on Sunday, they may honor the Sunday tix at the night cap - which would su*k for everyone having to work on Monday.

true, but a double header at some point would really mean that the starters would really have to be "on"
say in game 1, the bullpen is maxed out
they'll be really ripe for the pickens in game 2

yea its true too... its just now a matter of the starters going VERY FAR into the game!!
the bullpen is their biggest problem obviously.. all those blown games.. the bats aren't even my biggest issue.. i tihnk they do their job.. granted they cant blow games open when they should!!
