Hello - I am new - Running and hunger
Hey girls! I am an LIWer and decided to join up on LIF as well and this is one of my first posts!
OK so I definitely work out alot and am doing my 2nd half marathon this weekend. Only problem is I cannot control my hunger this week! It hasnt been bad during my training until now. Arghhh.
Ok so I did 12 Miles on Saturday. Took off Sunday. Weight trained Monday. Ran 3 yesterday and did yoga. And anyway...I am so so so hungry and no matter what I eat I am still hungry. DH finally said last night he was concerned with this hunger problem. What the heck is going on? I have never been so raveonous. Might be expecting AF.

I forgot to mention I eat 3 meals a day, plus several snacks. I try to stay low-carb unless its whole wheat, etc. I'd say I normally eat 1200-1500 calories a day...however that has increased drastically this week! Ughh. But at least I am still eating good things.

Re: Hello - I am new - Running and hunger
you probably burned 1500+ calories running 12 miles - that's almost a full day's worth of food!
I would listen to your body with healthy carbs and proteins and see if it is still an issue 1-2 weeks after the race.
