Dr. Stelling
Can I get some thoughts on Dr. Stelling at RSofNY? I always end up seeing him when I make an appointment and......I dont know  I always feel like he's not talking to me with certainty and confidence. Like he's too nervous and therefore the things he says come out...well...wierd. The last thing I wanna do is offend anyone. Maybe I'm just looking for some words of encouragement that he really is a good doctor.... which I'm sure he is. Sorry for babbling.. I'm just a little about him

He was actually my favorite doctor there ( I just felt that I clicked with him)....He was the Dr. I mainly saw when I conceived my DS and when I went back for # 2, I asked to see him again as well (and he isn't even the Dr. who did my successful IUI or IVF - ironically) ...He does have an odd sense of humor though, but on the few occasions I needed him to be serious(after my chemical) he can get down to business and not be aloof (if thats a good word ??)....Dr. Cain is a lot more straight forward and very knowledgable, maybe she might give you some more confidence...Dr. SanRoman was always a little too mushy for me, but he's a nice guy with years of experience under him....Dr. Sung is who got me pg, this time ...Good Luck  !

I really like him alot. I only had him once, and what a intro - it was my IUI last month! But I really liked him.

I always liked Dr. Stelling. I found he had a nice sense of humor. He never came across as nervous to me.

I see him for my PGD process, and so far I have really liked him, I like his laid back personality, but I don't feel that he is laid back regarding his work ethics... I left a message for him to call me one day, and he called me back within a couple of hours and I know he didn't have office hours that day, so I was very happy with that!
Overall I think he is great so far!

Dr. Stelling is my FAVORITE. I love him. He speaks quickly and he knows it; he has even joked to me about it. I think the way he speaks is just part of his personality. I actually have a little crush on him. 
Dr. San Roman is also wonderful. A little older and you may want to make an appointment with him next time, if you can. I think he floats between West Islip and Stony Brook.

I totally agree...l.he was serious when I had questions about doing IUI and clomid......but had a warm humor side to him to which I felt kept me comfortable

I dealt with Dr Stelling and Dr Cain and I liked both of them, but they are very different... Dr Stelling made me feel more comfortable and more at ease and Dr. Cain was very nice, but she was all business.
