Interest in an LIF-sponsored Monday Night Football Party
Hey guys:
In talking with Kim, I noted that the Sports board never had an official GTG  . I know that we have alot of football fans on here, and those that aren't necessarily fans, are married to them 
So the question is, if LIF were to sponsor a Monday Night Football GTG at Mulchay's or a similar sports bar - would you be interested. DH's or anyone for that matter, would be welcomed.
A few things to throw out.
- We realize that most of the games are on Sundays - and that Sundays are traditionally reserved for family time, or a traditional outing with friends to watch the games, so we don't want to infringe on that, hence the Monday night game idea.
- Since, if this idea came to light, it would be LIF-sponsored, we are opposed to doing it on a night where the Jets or Giants are playing - because then we get into one side feeling left out. So, we go for a completely neutral game where neither NY team is playing. And for those that don't root for neither the Jets nor the Giants, a MNF football party ensures that you don't feel out of place either by watching with a bunch of NY fans. And hey, it could be that you may root for one of the teams playing.
This would simply be a fun night of drinks, wings, and football
If interested, please respond to this thread, and based on responses, I will send the list to Ron and Kim. Let us know if you would be interested, and if would be bringing anyone (DH or other). If we get enough interest, and can plan this, I'll be back to propose dates and work on a location.

one other thing, we realize these games start at 8:30 or 9, and many get up early for work
so we could still start the GTG at 7:30 and stay at least for the 1st half - this way, by starting early enough, people can leave early as their schedule permits

Changing Times in East Northport is also an excellent spot to have this!!!

what about Miller's Ale house is a good one too!! my DH set up a previous GTG with his job through the manager and it was great!!

i would LOVE to make it - but DH works on Monday nights now.....and we live in Jersey - so getting there in time would NEVER happen.

Whatever happened with this....
due to the lack of interest, this got changed to Thursday night, 11/13 when the Jets play the Pats. I will bump the official thread
