Well, next week is DH's endoscopy
I didn't like the doctor's "it could be (insert horrible thing here) OR it could be (another awful thing here)" when he saw the CT scans
I like that we will find out right away when we go. But I'm also afraid we will find out bad news. I am picking Cailen up right after the appointemnt since the office is so close to his daycare. What if I pick him up and I'm crying?

maybe this helps.
If they find something in there and they biopsy it, it will take a few days to get the report. So while you may know more after the endoscopy, nothing definite will be known until after the biopsy is analyzed.
Good luck..I'm sure it will work out. Try not to think the worst. The doc is only covering his/her azz by telling you worse case scenarios.

If you are crying you will deal with it. Cailen will hug you and tell you he loves you and you'll be strong for your boy.
I had to pick Logan up right after we were told DH had Stage IV stomach cancer out of nowhere.
I was borderline hysterical, but I sucked it up, went in and got him. Just seeing him made me feel better and the daycare staff all gave us hugs and kisses too.
Hoping that it's all good news and something easily fixable.
Don't worry about the endoscopy, it's painless and your DH will get a good 45 minute nap. Just bring something good to read in the waiting room.
If it's like our hospital you'll be hanging out with all the colonoscopy folks waiting for their SO's too.
Bring your ipod and a book so you don't have to watch Jerry Springer or listen to people talk about their enemas.
