dialation Please Read
I have a quick question. I just came from my doctor. I am 1cm dialted. I am scheduled for a c-section February 15th. I am measuring 35 1/2 weeks with that tape measure. What are the chances of me having that scheduled date or does it look like I will go early? Thank for your in puit.

You have two factors working against going early:
1 - if it's your first
2 - dialation at this point really isn't any sign that you'll go early

I'm 40 weeks, and have been 2 cm 50% effaced for about two and a half weeks. I lost my mucous plug last week so what I'm trying to say is I have no idea. It is very frustrating to try everything but bottom line is the baby will come when it does. Everyone is different. Hang in there

Honestly at this point there is no way of knowing. I wouldn't put too much on that 1cm, if you do however make changes on your next appt that might mean something.

You can never tell. The day before I gave birth to my son, I was NOT dialated at all and my doc and I even spoke about induction, getting a non stress test, etc. The next day at 2am I started having contractions and by 830am I was 4 cm dialated.

I started with internals at 36 weeks and had them until I gave birth.
