vitamins

Is it ok to take a chewable multivitamin? I just can't get any vitamins down so I am taking a Centrum Chewable Mulitvitamin. Do you think that is ok?

It'd be best to check with your doc, but a lot of ladies seem to use basic multi-vitamins, including kid's chewables. I take a Flintstones myself, but I haven't asked my doctor about it. I actually need to find a new ob/gyn, so I'll ask then.

Make sure it has at least 400mg of Folic Acid and also check with your OB/GYN

I take Flinstones and a folic acid pill.

during my 1st pregnancy I couldn't keep the prenatals down...so my Ob advised me to take 2 flinstones a day....after comparing the label with my actual prentals...2 flinstones was almost the same as 1 prenatal.

I just went to the GYN on Monday and she told me that a multi with folic will be sufficient.

I was taking a horse pill size vitamin that my doctor prescribed for me and i could barely get them down. So i went out on my own to get the CVS multi vitamin. I just called them last week to tell them and they said there is a chewable prescription one that they rather i take. It's called Duet. There are big, but chewable.

I had read some women here take 2 chewable flinstones and i checked into that and it equals the 800 mg of folic acid that doctors want you too but i was afraid i was putting too much of other vitamins into my system so that is why i called them to find out.
