hmm - well, it depends on the place.
out of all the "chain" restaurants like friday's, applebees, chili's, etc. i would say, hands down, that ruby tuesday has the best burger.
then, out of regular restaurants - i have to say that sweet mama's in northport has a FANTASTIC burger. i love them there!!
red robin has a great burger but they are no longer in the area -- same with fuddruckers -- seems like those two places are only out of state nowadays.

I would have to say Chilis had the best tasting burgers so far. They jsut have unique flavors and combos.
But my all time fave is All American in Mass. I know this is fast food but no burger can compare. My grandparents live down the block and I can not go there without stopping.

I agree with pp about All American. As far as un-fast food: Long Island Cheeseburger in Lindenhurst hands-down!

We just checked out Bobby Flay's in the Smithhave Mall last weekend and it was definately one of the best!
Although DH still thinks All American is the best.

bobby flay bleu cheese burger is out of this world-
for fast food the angus burger from mcd's is really good!!!!!!!!!

No... I had 2 wisdom teeth removed in the last 8 days. The last one yesterday.
Eating has been limited. I am desperate for a burger and it triggered the question.

I really like Cricket's!
I don't order burgers when I go out because I really prefer the homecooked kind. My husband pretty much ONLY orders burgers and his favorite (believe it or not!) is Ruby Tuesday's Triple Prime burger.
