Cute apple activites for grade K
I thought since our letter is is A this week and the season is right for it, we can do some cute things with apples.

You can make apple prints using cut apples and a stamp pad or paint.
I did an apple taste test the other day and they LOVED it (1st grade).
You can make apple people by tracing apple shapes and turning them into people or cutting out apple shapes and they use them as bodies.

It has the potential to be, but I have kids wear smocks when we paint and we cover the tables with newspaper and paint goes on disposable plates for easy clean up.

To make the apple printing easier for the kids, cut two notches in the side that they have to hold, so that their fingers can grip, almost like a tiny handle. i have had painted apples all over the floor before I found that out!!

When you did the apple prints did you paint the apple or dip it in the paint??
