Had Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy yesterday...
Hi everyone. I had the laparoscopy and hysteroscopy yesterday. Wanted to post this in case anyone may have to do this and wants to ask any questions.
I think the worst part for me was the anticipation, waiting, and delay at the hospital! The "best" part, so to speak, was eating so much after the procedure because I was starving after having to fast for 16 hours!
Surprisingly, they found endometriosis (it is surprising because I had NO symptoms whatsoever of that). He cleaned that out, and removed the polyp from my uterus. So now, we wait for me to heal so we can start TTC all over again (given that the past 18 mos were a bust since we didn't know that my tubes were blocked).
Yesterday I was sore but the drugs definitely helped and I was actually surprised that I was able to walk out of there on my own. Today I am very sore but it's bearable and I really expected much worse so I won't complain.
