Pancreatitis

Anyone have this?

What were your symptoms and what do you do for it?

I'm still having stomach issues and its almost 3 weeks...and my bloodwork showed an elevated amylase level so this is a possibility Chat Icon

TIA!

Re: Pancreatitis

One of my co-workers had this recently. She woke up in the middle of the night with extreme abdominal pain and vomiting. Her DH brought her to the ER and she swore it was her appendix and she needed it taken out, but it turned out to be pancreatitis. They believe it was due to a medicine she was taking.

I hope this isn't what you have and that you feel better soon!!

This happened to me exactly... even the medication part. I was hospitalized for days. The pain was unbearable to the point I had to take demoral for relief. My amylase and lipase were elevated for weeks after the hospitailization.
