Madonna ultrascreen/counseling q's

I have an appt this week w/ Madonna for what I believe is an ultrascreen. However, last time they told me (1st pregnancy) it was for an ultrascreen & it ended up being genetic counseling (I'm over 35).

When I called to ask if my DH should take off of work to come Monday b/c its an ultrascreen she said, "yes he should come." YET if I go there & its just counseling I'll walk out.

On the phone it was 20 minutes to set up the appt. & then she said 10 days later you'll have the other appt.

1) IF you had counseling was it before/after the ultrascreen.

2) How many weeks were you for the ultrascreen? (I'll be 12 wks 1 day)

I had an Ultrascreen at Madonna and then the 2nd appointment was when they went over the test results with me and asked me about family history and stuff.

This is specifically genetic counseling due to my age. They kind of misled me last time and seemed secretive when I asked if it was an ultrascreen. Weird!

I was supposed to have both at the same visit. I denied genetic counseling because I already knew the drill with DS and it really was a waste of time. I was getting all the tests I could get anyway.

Then they wanted me to go back for the results but that is a waste for me too. I rather have the results sent to my OB and have him tell me the news then some complete stranger.
