Re: Book Reports
i made a fiction book report scaffold and a non-fiction book report scaffold. They have to complete atleast 15 fiction and 10 nonfiction book reports by the end of the year.
i made sure the scaffolds included key concepts for each genre, and that they would have to have actually read the book in order to fill them out.
no more copied off the back cover or internet book reports for me!
ill email them to anyone who is interested, just FM me.

What grades would this apply to? I'm 3rd and need a good way to get the kids to not cheat on reports.

Re: Book Reports
i teach 4th grade. i find that this method is working well so far. definately easier for me to manage checking work. and teaching them how to start sentences, etc.
