Re: ok so now that it is cold out....
Get a good pair of warm running pants, a long sleeve running shirt, a pair of golves and a hat and get outdoors!!!
I prefer running in 50 degrees than 80 degrees!!
I went out this moring in 40 degrees in shorts...and it wasn't bad at all!

In the winter I use the treadmill also... I'm usually on from 6 to 7 so I watch the old Bev Hills 90210 on the soap network then when it's over I know I've been on for an hour and time to start thinking about dinner. LOL

Not much else you can do other than what the other posters suggested.
Do you have an IPOD? I would blast the IPOD in your ear....and put the TV on and watch the pictures/shows/people/news.
I'm sure before you know it........times up!

Re: ok so now that it is cold out....
It's not so much the cold - but the dark...I freak out about every bush or set of trees. I push myself to get out in the late afternoon with a good pair of pants and layered tops that I can shed.
I like gloves sometimes, but I need to wear my pants with pockets, so I can take them off in the middle of the run

where do you get your outdoor, cold weather running clothes? And how do you determine if it's too cold to run outside? I'd love to run outside, but get cold very quickly. I'd love to get used to it and get some runs in even though its cold.
