this might be gross but...
When and what am I expecting w/ the mukus plug?? I have seen it mentioned on here but I have no idea what its all about..
Please help.. and is it possible I could miss it?

It looks like bloody snot...not to be totally gross. When you wipe, that's when you'll see it. The mucus plug came out over a period of 2 days when my doctor stripped my membranes...(ouch).
I gave birth the third day after that.

this is a great question. Ive read about it on here a bit and heard the term but didnt know much about it either. once it breaks - do you give birth shortly afer?

yes you can miss it because sometimes it comes out gradually , little bits at a time..iknow i missed it before! ...some people dont lose it until right before labor

I started losing mine about 2 weeks before, it was clear.
About 2 days before it was a little bloody.

Not necessarily. It can regenerate.
