Congratulations!
I am sure about the eating - but did the doctor give you the ok to start exercising yet?
I had a c-section and my doctor had me wait for at least 6 weeks. I am not sure if it is any different for a vaginal birth though

You can start the dieting, but not the exercising. You definitly have to check with your doctor first - it's usually 6 weeks reguardless. At 3 weeks your joints are still loosened up and your stability is off. You can still eat healthy and eat enough food, just cut out the unhealthy stuff - start with that and most likely your doc will tell you to wait on the exercise.

You can follow WW while EBF. I think there is 300 extra calories and additional calcium. I would try that along with walks-that is whta I plan to do once my twins get here

I second WW - and I love how you get extra points for breastfeeding.

I started walking at two weeks and I was back to running at 6. I had c/s's so I wasn't up to ab workouts any time soon...but with BFing my weight more or less came all off by 6 months and I ate a lot during that time.
