please..vimp---to me..anyone who knows help
Did anyone have a umbilicial hernia from pregnancy and get it fixed, then have to take care of your baby?
I have to go in Monday and I al not allowed to lift them for 6 weeks!!!!!!!
no stairs for a few days...bla bla...
ok great...well I will live but my shower is upstairs and I have to lift them out of their playpen-crib-something during naptime!
my Dh cannot take more then one week. How do I do this with twins?
Does anyone have any tricks?
the only one i thought of was ok-I will lift then and scooch down the stairs on my arse.
Family is not a option-I have no help-any ideas how to simplify this?

you would have to come sleep here with me...lmao..is that ok?
I will take u up on company..i still have to lift them...it will be fine..Im freaking a bit too because anesthesia is not my friend.
Anyhow...anyone who knows me I don't even drink sitting...this is pure punishment

I had an incision hernia which was a result from my c-section. I had to have it fixed when dd was 6 months. It was more painful and it took much longer to re-coop than my actual c-section.
However my friend who had an umbilical hernia fixed at the same time as me said she had very little pain and she was back to herself and working within 3 days.
I think a week with your husband's help should be fine. Just don't do anything with the babies for at least the first two days. After that you should be feeling better.
I had only two days with my husband then I was on my own, but of course I didn't have twins..

I told the doctor 3 days tops is all I will stay in bed no more/
He did say due to the size of it light duty for 6 weeks.
(no...I am sure I won't be listening, I cannot)
Does your g-friend have any tricks to make her life easier?
I was told I cannot life more then 20 pounds for 6 weeks--each twin is over that...so i just don't know how.
I know God does not give you more then you can handle though.
I am not worried about myself I am worried about the 4 kids and the neglect this is going to cause them pretty much.

I had surgery on my hernias when my boys were one. Luckily I had my mom here to help, but when she was at home, I would take them from their cribs, I was told I could lift anything under 20 lbs. Luckily one of my boys was 17 at the time so I basically did everything for him while my mom or DH did everything for the bigger guy. The only thing I would do is lift them out of the crib. I would not carry them down the stairs, I would have them crawl down the stairs since we taught them how to crawl up and down before they started walking. This helped a ton.
If my mom could not have helped, I would have needed DH to take off of work for a few days.
It was hard but doable. Good Luck!
