Skin colored Chocolate

I'm new to this making chocolate lollipops. I found the cutest baby face mold that I'd like to make for my friend's DS's christening/welcome to the world party. Do they make skin colored choclate? Also how can I go about making it look like the baby has rosey cheeks? Any ideas or is it something you just have to play around with until you get it right? TIA!

You can see what colors Wilton has in the meltables at Michaels or AC Moore. If they don't have the color you're looking for- buy white chocolate and look at their coloring that they sell (small bottles)- that should help you. Re: Skin colored Chocolate

sunflowerdsmrn told me about luster dust.. it works great.. you dust over the chocolates after they are solid with a paint brush or eye shadow applicator.. the colors are vibrant and you can do the rose cheek look.

Here are the flowers i made for my dds baptism with the luster dust. They sell the luster dust at grandmas chocolates in wantagh and i think the chocolate duck has in farmingdale.

This reply may be too late, but I bought flesh colored chocolate at a confectioner's store in New Hyde Park. It was a mix of white chocolate, with a few browns, reds, oranges and yellows. It was amazingly flesh colored when it melted and the colors mixes.

I used it to make very life-like chocolate lollipops for a Bachelorette party. Chat Icon
