I need quick help...dentist recommendation!
I am in so much pain I am in tears. The past 3 days it has been so bad, the pain is shooting up to my ear, I think I have an infection. I have a feeling I need a root canal on this tooth, and I want to be able to call Monday and get in by Tuesday at the latest! We just moved so I don't have a dentist yet. Any recommendations in Merrick/Bellmore/Wantagh area? TIA!

and btw, I just reread your post...they are really great about getting people in for emergencies so I would think Monday/Tuesday would be doable. My first appointment with him was for a broken tooth..I got in on a day they were closed...hth!

Dr. Berkenfeld in Bellmore on Newbridge Rd.
He's been my family dentist for years and usually can fit people in asap.
Nice guy, very gentle and very smart.
I travel from Bethpage to see him still even though I haven't lived there for 10 years. Worth the trip.

I work at Greater Long Island Dental Health associates in Massapequa.
516-798-4223
Dr Stephen Rogers & Dr Anthony Geraci are both in on Mon & Tues & they are awesome, caring & gentle.
Several LIFers are patients in our practice
