WALT WHITMAN MALL EVENT - NOVEMBER 2008

Hello everyone, the rescue group I work with, Grateful Greyhounds is participating in the "Evening of Giving" at the Walt Whitman Mall in Huntington.

On the evening of Sunday, November 23rd, the stores in the Walt Whitman Mall will be open exclusively to shoppers who have purchased "Simon Evening of Giving" tickets from participating charities and non-profit organizations like Grateful Greyhounds. All proceeds from our ticket sales will benefit Grateful Greyhounds and the Simon Youth Foundation.

The event features store discounts and special one night offers throughout
the mall. There will be door prizes, raffles, food sampling and ntertainment
throughout the evening. Individuals who purchased tickets from Grateful
Greyhounds can also use them at the Roosevelt Field Shopping Center on the same night.

The tickets are $10 each, of which Grateful Greyhounds keep $7, with
$3 going to the Simon Youth Foundation.

If you are interested in buying tickets, please FM me. I went to this event last year and it was great. The mall is open from 7-10 for special shopping hours and only to people who buy tickets to this event. The majority of the stores participate with special sales and discounts. As mentioned above, the tickets are also good at Roosevelt Field Mall.
