4 Mile Autism run, and I must give a shout out...
...to Angelo, Liza's (Lipglossjunky) DH.
The run was very challenging. I saw him at the top of the third mile and he was so cute making sure to say hello and cheer me along as he left me in his dust. 
Then, at the end when I started to tear up because I didn't make my goal...I look up and he is smiling and cheering me on and greeting me at the finish. I know he wasn't waiting for me, but it was so nice seeing him and him cheering me at the end. And, he stopped me from crying, which he doesn't even know he did 
Anyway...I am proud of myself because it was a challenging course and I still finished in a respectable time, but I can't help but beat myself up for not making my personal goal. Someone smack me.
My finish time was 41.05. My goal was not to go over 40.
OH: And Liza never ceases to amaze me at how beautiful she is. She just shines and her whole family is beautiful

Oh Steph, I know how you feel. Every race is as different as every day...be proud you did the best you could You have come SO incredibly far I know that you are most definitely proud of that 
Liza how did you do? Did you absolutely love it???

OMG Stephanie!!!! 
First of all, I thought for sure I scared the hell out of you - I literally attacked her when I saw her, and said about 500 times how awesome she looked.
I finished the race in 46:30 - which I am very proud of myself - I figured at 4 mph, it would take me an hour, so I discovered I ran faster than I expected.
The race was very challenging - lots and lots of steep hills. If I beat myself up at anytime, it was being mad for not being able to breeze up those hills - but when I saw good runners WALKING up those hills I felt better.
It was a lot of fun, and I felt great during and after. I look forward to my next race. Stephanie - I had no idea how upset you were!!! You did amazing and you have many more races to reach your goal!!!!!
