whats a level II??
ok so maybe im a little late in the game to be asking this..but i am about 23 weeks pregnant and i keep seeing this stuff about a level II and i dont know what the heck it is!!!! im fairly sure this is something my doc should have metioned!! im seeing her tomorrow and i'd like to know if i shuld be annoyed that she hasn't mentioned it!!

the level II is the anatomy scan (it is a ultrasound where they look at all the vital organs - the heart, lungs, brain, kidneys etc)
It is usually when most ppl find out boy or girl

It's usually done around the 20 week mark. I would ask your Ob about it tomorrow.
During the sonogram, they can detect abnormalities. During my first pregnancy, they detected my DD had clubbed feet during that sonogram. There wasn't anything we could to repair it intra-utero but at least I was well prepared for it when she was born.
