I fell off the wagon
For 3 months I was doing great. Exercising daily, and on a diet. Then my DDs started school and I just stopped.
The first couple of days I was too busy, then it just snowballed into me not eating right and not exercising in a month.
I just started again this week but I keep losing my motivation. With 80 lbs to lose, it seems like I will never get there. I feel like I should just get used to being fat forever, because I honestly don't see how I could lose all this weight in any reasonable amount of time.

Re: I fell off the wagon
You sound like me.
You did so well and that shows you are capable of doing it. And you will do it.
One of my biggest challenges as a mother has been that I have consistantly put 'taking care of ME' to the back of every list. Everyone else and their needs come first. So I wind up eating whatever is convenient - or doing a crash diet when I can fit it in. But it didn't work. It never worked.
And it occurs to me that I am not doing my kids any favors by the example I am setting them. So I have started (baby steps) to make time for taking care of myself by eating right and exercising just a bit. I feel better, I am more relaxed and I am a more effective parent and partner when I am healthy. And it will be the same for you!
Trust me - I know how depressing it is to look at the scale and not see it moving as fast as you want. I always start out with this dramatic goal in mind and get reallly po'd when I haven't come close a month later... so this time I downsized my goal and I think it's working. I cheated and got on the scale a day early. It wasn't a huge weight loss this week - but seeing that scale hovering close to my 1st goal has me really pretty excited. Maybe instead of looking at it as 80lbs to lose - start looking in 10lb increments?
And I am quickly learning that if you need to vent or you need to talk to someone - the ladies on here are amazing.

That's me!!
But last week, I got back on. I ran two days last week and three thsi week! My eating hasn't been the best, but for me, its starts with excersize and then the eating well kicks in. I need to get my butt back to WW!

I think Jeannie hit the nail on the head right here. It can be overwhelming to think about losing 80 lbs. Do yourself a favor and please just stop putting so much pressure on yourself to do this "perfectly." Stop putting timelines on things too. They DON'T work.
You sound like you were doing so GREAT before!!!! It's never too late to go back to that. I don't care if it's a day, 10 days or even a year - the sooner you can get back the better off you'll be. The fact that you are reaching out to us now means that you WANT to get back there and you can!!!! Like Jillian Michaels says (yeah I'm a total groupie sorry) don't wait for that elevator to go to the ground floor...you can get off at anytime!
Good luck!!! You can do this!!!!

i know how you feel. I've fallen off this week and I'm sure the scale is going to go up when I weigh myself this weekend! I don't wanna!! But in the back of my head I know to just get right back on. We'll do it together!

You've done it before and you can do it again. Don't be so hard on yourself and definitely don't look at 80lbs. Take it 5-10 lbs at a time.
As soon as this little guy is out of me we can buddy up. I have at least 100lbs to lose.
