Re: Hi! New Here.
Hi and welcome. I hope you're time here will be short .
That being said, anything is possible. There are plenty of women who have success on clomid, there are plenty who don't. Hopefully you'll be in the "do" group!

Welcome and good luck! Clomid does answer a lot of people's problems! Hopefully, you'll be one of them!
Best of Luck!!!

Re: Hi! New Here.
First, I must say that I love your screen name!
Second, welcome. May your stay here be short!
If you've been reading for months, you probably already know that you have found the most amazing group of women. A lot of us lurked for a while before posting, I sure did.
I don't want to be a downer in any way, but I want to temper your expectations a little. You very well may get pregnant after one round of Clomid, and yes, it does absolutely happen. But, sometimes, they need to tweak your dose next cycle and that's completely normal. I think that in the beginning, until they know how your body responds to different drugs it is a little bit of a guessing game for the RE.
Best of luck to you! Sending you

Re: Hi! New Here.
Hi! It's nice to "meet" you and I truly hope your stay is short.
Everyone is different, obviously. I don't know anyone on here that has gotten PG their first time on Clomid, but I have a very close friend who only has to take Clomid for a month or two to get PG - she has three children now.

I agree. Unfortuantely it didn't work for me (I have PCOS also) and I had to do an IUI. That didn't work either, and I am now looking at IVF after just one IUI that left me with several residual cysts. I hope you get lucky, though.

I never did Clomid so I can't offer any advice about that, but I wanted to with you lots of luck!

Re: Hi! New Here.
Welcome!!! Everyone's body is different so what works and doesn't will be different too. So, I hope you are one of the lucky and easy ones and this is it for you. Didn't work for me, but my best friend was trying naturally for 4 years (don't ask) and finally gave in, first round of clomid/iui and her DS is now 6yrs. She has PCOS also.
