Re: Am I doing something wrong?
The only thing I can think of that might be screwing you up is the frosted mini wheats.
Maybe try Oatmeal or A higher fiber cereal for breakfast. Trader joes has a few
Do you drink a lot of water? So far today, I have had 140 ounces.
For lunch, Have some protien, like Chicken, or fish
Have you been eating your veggies? They are very important

Re: Am I doing something wrong?
yeah I was thinking that too, about the frosted mini wheats. I'll switch it up.
I drink lots of water during the day. I usually put some kidney beans for protein in my salad at lunch.
Forgot to mention, I sometimes make some green beans or corn with my dinner entree.
Thanks!!

Re: Am I doing something wrong?
Watch how much corn you eat - It is very high in starch

Re: Am I doing something wrong?
Jen, from what you posted I honestly don't think you are eating enough..
Also just an FYI: watch the corn.. you can only have 1/2 cup, and they count that as a 'carb' not a veggie serving.. I have the list of veggie servings somewhere, I can post for you (but its on the website) PLUS on the women's plan, we don't get the carb serving
Are you just eating the jello and not any N/S dessert? Are you eating salad with dinner? your one fat serving? All your fruits and dairy servings? I found that on the weeks I did not get my servings in, I did worse with the loss.... your metabolism just slows down too much..
They want you eating 5x a day ...here is the guidelines:
Breakfast: NutriSystem Breakfast Entrée 1 Fruit Serving 1 Milk/Protein Serving
Lunch: NutriSystem Lunch Entrée 1 Milk/Protein Serving Salad Vegetables Fat-Free or Low-Fat Salad Dressing
Snack: 1 Fruit Serving 1 Milk/Protein Serving
Dinner: NutriSystem Dinner Entrée 2 Vegetable Servings 1 Salad or Fruit Serving 1 Fat Serving
Dessert: NutriSystem Dessert
Sorry for all the questions - I know its frustrating, but sometimes not eating enough is worse than eating everything!
GL!!

Re: Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks guys I just feel like I can't eat that much!! I don't eat corn often, maybe once or 2x in the last 2 weeks. I have also been putting red peppers in my salad, I guess that's a no no.....well, i guess it counts toward the 1/2 cup per day.

Re: Am I doing something wrong?
Hi, yes watch what you put in the salad. For the lunch salad unless I read it wrong should NOT have any fats or carbs in it, like the kidney beans, olives. I have salad, with lite italian or vin and evoo. My dinner salad I put in 1 fat, and that is either avocado or olives, I alternate for variety.
on the low glycemic chart I do NOT eat any of those- barley, beans, bread, corn, couscous, crackers, oatmeal- only what they give me for breakfast, pasta again only thier dinner entrees, peas, pita, rice. roll, sweet potato or yams. I wont eat that at all.
sample of my day
N/S breakfast a fruit, either a banana or red grapefruit 8oz of milk or yogurt water with crystal light, I dont drink coffee or tea
Lunch N/S lunch or dinner sometimes I mix them up Salad with vinagrette and for the dairy serving I sprinkle 2 tbs of grated parm cheese on top if I eat the NS meatballs I just put it in my salad, I will not eat the whole grain roll they say too.
Snack that I usually miss a fruit a pear
Dinner NS lunch or dinner whichever if I switched for lunch A HUGE salad with either avocado or olives for the fat, I try to put the veggies in the salad cause Im not a big veggie with dinner person, vinagrette
Snack a fruit and the NS dessert

Re: Am I doing something wrong?
No, its not on the fat chart. Beans are on the carbohydrate servings, Im not sure how to incorporate that into the womans plan, the mens plan yes they can add it as its part of breakfast, lunch and dinner menu.
for fat servings choices are
avocado 1/8 mayo 1 tsp. nuts: almonds 6 peanuts 10 large pecans 4 halves walnuts 4 halves
Peanut butter 1 tsp Oil ( canola, olive, peanut, corn, saflower) 1 tsp.
Olives 5 large Salad Dressings ( regular) 1 tbsp. Salad Dressings ( reduced fat) 2 tbsp. Seeds ( sesame, pumpkin, sunflower) 1 tbsp.
thats all that is on the fat chart for both men and women. But as you see on our daily food menu we do NOT have any servings for Low GI Carbohydrate Servings and that is where the beans, corn, bread, pasta, oatmeal, peas, rice, sweetpotato, rolls, crackers, couscous, and barley are. So to my interpretation NO we cant have ANY of those "extra" than there allready are in the N/S food itself.
