Christmas gifts for Daycare

Not sure if this has come up or not, but my baby is in daycare 2 days a week. Of course, I would like to brings gifts for the ladies that work in the infant room, and especially for the one woman who takes care of my daughter mostly, but I was wondering what the etiquette was on this....
Should I give a gift to the daycare director too? Any thoughts?

You should absolutely give them a giftChat Icon

I work in day care as a director and I usually gets things like candy, bath and body works, gift cards from parents. Not every parent gives me a gift (which I would rather they give their child's teacher a giftChat Icon )

The girls who work for me usually get the same type of things but they also get jewelery, scarves. candles. They appreciate cash and GC the most though.Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Christmas gifts for Daycare

Thanks Stacey

Can you tell me what might be an appropriate amt? My baby is 10 weeks old and has only been there for 3 weeks. She is there 2 days a week.
There is one main person that takes care of her. There is the director. And there are about 6 ladies in the infant room.
Thanks for your opinion.

Yikes that is a lot of peopleChat Icon Plus you have only been there for a few weeks.

Maybe instead you could send in bagels with cream cheese, butter and some coffee or some wraps and soda for lunch. They will all think you are wonderful, especially since you just startedChat Icon Chat Icon

For the main teacher I would get a GC for like $20/$25.

The director you could get a box of candy or just a card saying how happy you are in their program( I love getting cards like thisChat Icon )
