I used it for a while and couldn't stand it. For me at least it kept coming off and would really irritate my skin. It wasn't worth the hassle IMO.

I agree with the above - I tried it earlier last year, and it irritated my skin and never stayed put! And it also made me incredibly sick and moody and killed my libido! (DH , then FH , made me give this up pronto  )
My doctor was very surprised I didn't like it , since she says most people adjust to the patch really well and it usually has minimal side affects on most people - so its worth a try , especially since it IS so much easier than taking a BCP every day!

well I figured I've been through the Nicotine Patch already and that's completely irritating, hopefully I'll be able to deal with this patch.

I really liked the patch, but I wasn't able to wear it through the winter, because my skin is SO dry, and the adhesive killed me.
After much experimentation with MANY kinds of BCP, patch, etc., I found that any device that distributes the medication EVENLY throughout the day/week is the best for me. I don't have the moodiness, the headache after immediately taking the pill, etc.
I've been on the NuvaRing for over a year now, and it's the BEST. Even release of medication, but no sticky adhesive to irritate me.
