Does anyone here mentor a student?

I am going to be mentoring a student in my school and I've never done it before. What do you do with your mentee? I was thinking about doing breakfast once a week but I'm open to other suggestions!

I do, actually. It depends on the year. Sometimes, the student just wants to catch up very casually; this year, the kid I'm mentoring sought me out and told me we hadn't had our "date" yet -- so that pretty much set that up well. (He then asked if we could "do this" once a week. So cute. ) I would kind of get a sense of the kid and see what s/he wants to do. How old is the student?
