Upcoming Doctor's Visit
Hey All. I am new the boards and finally admitting we are having a problem TTC..a huge step for us. We have been trying to conceive since Nov. 2007. I have regular cycles and had been temping and using OPKs for some time. I know I am definitely ovulating. What do you think will be the next step? I have an appointment with my doctor in a few weeks and want to be prepared.

Re: Upcoming Doctor's Visit
Will you be seeing an RE?
In my blog, I have my whole first RE appointment experience in there.
Before seeing the RE, we had an SA done, CD 3 bloodwork, and an HSG - otherwise the RE would have ordered those.
At the appointment, we went over our histories, talked about our diagnosis, our chances, and our options. We made a plan for what we'd do next... and also went over our insurance information. The appointment was maybe 2+ hours. They answered any and all questions we had!
Best of luck to you!

Re: Upcoming Doctor's Visit
we saw the RE for almost 3 hours going over both our family health backround. filled out a ton of papers then the RE told us I had to have CD 3 bloodwork, and an HSG and if all that came back good the next steps would be our protocol. we didnt have to do a SA cause we used froze sperm from DH or thats something we would of had to do also
welcome and hope your stay is short and i wish you all the best!!!

Re: Upcoming Doctor's Visit
Are you seeing an RE?
I just had my first RE appt last week after 14 months of TTC. So far the RE asked us a few questions and went over all the paper work we had filled out prior to the appointment. Since it was CD3 for me, I had blood work done and an ultrasound. On Tues I go in for an HSG. DH had an SA already which came out great. In a couple of weeks we go back in to meet with RE to discuss our options.
Good Luck and I hope you have a BFP soon
