JHS 2nd time?
Just wondering if anyone else experienced this..
The first time I had JHS done on my hair was at Hair Village in June of 07. I loved the results. In September of this year I went to Hair Club b/c I needed it done again. I wasn't pleased with the results at all. It's extremely noticable where the first treatment is still on my hair and where Hair Club did the 2nd treatment. My roots and everything came out straight again (for the most part) but it seems like where the transition is between new JHS and old JHS it's wavy. I don't know if that's suppose to happen when you have a touch up or if Hair Club just didn't do a good job.
Anyone else experience this when going back for JHS? Or did your hair come out just like the first time?
TIA!

Re: JHS 2nd time?
it could be that they used a different product or just that the person doing it wasn't as skilled
I haven't had any issues since I started going to Top Point and using the same person everytime

Re: JHS 2nd time?
Hmm - Do you think that when I go back for my 3rd time (obviously wont be going to Hair Club IB) that I should get my entire head done instead of just the new growth? I wonder if that will cause too much damage or if it would be able to fix the waves that got left behind this past time.
Who do you use at Top Point?

Re: JHS 2nd time?
I used Tracey
I would get the whole head done
not everyone is good at doing just the roots
and that's what it sounds like happened in your case
(Tracey has done just my roots twice with no issue)

Re: JHS 2nd time?
I've gone through many JHS Mishaps.
What happened to you has happened to me in the past, I never got my whole head redone because I was afraid of crazy breakage, When I already had breakage issues the first time I got it done.
I basically just let it grow out while still getting my roots done every 4-6months. I was a slave to my flat iron til it did but it worked for the interim.
I have tried a bunch of salons for JHS and the best place I have gone to is Hair Village.
I HTH and wish you luck, because I know how it feels

Re: JHS 2nd time?
Thanks
I may just go back to Hair Village next time I get it done, and have my whole head done again. I just didn't want to go back there this last time b/c of the crazy environment and wait time. I guess I'll have to take the good and the bad if I want it to come out great again!

Re: JHS 2nd time?
Honestly if you can go to Hair Village during the week, its less crowded than on a weekend.
Im going on friday which I know I'll be there all day probably since its black friday. but im hoping ppl will go shopping instead of getting there hair done.
Good luck!
