LEXIE'S GAME
I just wanted to copy you guys into a mass email that I sent around...I realize that I never really posted about my cousin, because at the time of her diagnosis in April, everything was very day-to-day, touch and go, nothing was certain. I can proudly say that Lexie has fought cancer, kicking and screaming!
Before she got sick, Lex was a perfect little middle schooler. She's an excellent student and star soccer player that can't wait to get back on the field.
We have a special bond because I'm the oldest Grandchild and she's the youngest. I call her my Littlest Snot  ...(clearly, I'm the Biggest Snot).

I'm sure everyone knows all about my 12 year old cousin Alexis and her recent (and still ongoing) battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma because I can't stop talking about her!!! Lexie is doing so well - she's put on her game face and shown everyone the fearless fighter inside of her. She's still undergoing treatments, but has a fantastic prognosis. She's definitely a trooper.
Lexie has been so lucky to have tremendous support from family, friends, and the Northport community over the past several months, and I'm sure now will be no different. We hope that you can join us for a Vegas Night fundraiser at the Huntington Harbor Club on Friday, November 21 from 7-11pm. If you are unable to attend, please consider any connections you may have, as they are also seeking donations/prizes for the silent auction and accepting ads for the journal.
