Re: EI Moms-Christmas Gifts?
I think it's very appropriate. I'm getting my son's therapists at school gifts.

Re: EI Moms-Christmas Gifts?
We are getting Ryan's teacher, teacher assistants, and his speech teacher all little gifts. You don't have to spend a lot at all. For the assistants I am getting this little hot chocolate decorative thing that I saw at CVS, for $5.99, or a nice holiday Lindt Truffle tin I saw at Target. For his teachers, I was thinking a nice gift card, or maybe something else. Not sure for them yet, but something around $20 or so.

I was struggling on what to get the bus driver. I think a 7-11 GC would be perfect. Thanks for the idea

Re: EI Moms-Christmas Gifts?
I was thinking of getting DS' therapists something as well. His speech therapist always has DD coffee with her, so, I think I know what Im getting her a GC to..LOL
The other 2 (PT and Special Ed) I may do GCs. I know in conversation, PT mentioned she loves Kohls, just have to work on the special ed teacher to get some more ideas.

Re: EI Moms-Christmas Gifts?
I decided to give each one of them a $10 gc to Starbucks and a $25 gc through restaurant.com to a local place I picked out. We have 6 people that work with DS. I hope this is good? I'm still out of work and the $$ is a bit tight.

Re: EI Moms-Christmas Gifts?
We are giving mall GC's. It was all I could think of! We have two teachers, one DD has had for about 9 months now and a new one for about 3 months. I'm not sure if I should give them the same amount though (they both come 4 times a week). My first instinct was to give the one here 9 months a little more but they are good friends and I didn't want the new one to feel slighted if they talked about the gift. What do you think?

I think it is reasonable to give the therapist who has been with you longer a little more. I'm sure the other one would understand.
To answer the question.... We are giving GCs. I'm not sure where I am getting them yet.

Re: EI Moms-Christmas Gifts?
You are all most generous! I work at a pre-school for children with special needs. Believe me when I tell you that the greatest gift you could give anyone who is working with your child is a card acknowledging the hard work they do and the difference they have made in your child's life.
