How do you lose those last 10 pounds?

I need help! I am a WW lifetime member but I am about 10 pounds above goal. I am not gaining weight but I just cannot seem to get the willpower to lose those last 10 pounds. I'll do good for awhile and lose a few pounds but it always seems to come back. Any advice for me? I'd really like to get it off and I know I'll feel better if I do. I just cannot seem to get in the right frame of mind.

I am not lifetime yet - have 4 more weigh-ins to go. I too set my goal 10 lbs above my personal goal because I wanted to have that wiggle room for things like vacations etc.

What is really motivating me right now is doing Making the Cut. I know that if it doesn't get those last 10 lbs off at least I will be working my way to getting toned.

Can you switch things up at the gym or try new recipes? Do you still journal?

Can you change your goal and go back to being a regular member?

This is the exact reason that I made my goal on the lower side. And, I've been tempted to raise it...but I won't! I don't want to sell myself short.

So maybe with the motivation of being a regular member striving for that lifetime status again will help?

Congrats on almost being lifetime! I'm sure you will do it. You always sound so motivated!
Thanks for the advice. I don't journal anymore and that may be part of the problem. I always did flex and by the time I was lifetime I was just so sick of counting points, I stopped. I didn't really need to, I knew how much I should be eating but slowly over a few months, I kept eating a little bit more here and there but it added up.
Going back to the gym is a good idea too. I have a treadmill at home and I use it but I used to go to a gym and loved the classes. I've just been trying to save a little money by using the treadmill at home. But hey, I'm worth the extra $$! Chat Icon

I made my goal at the upper end of the weight range for my height and weight.I don't know that I really want to go much lower because when I was at goal I was pretty slim. My size 6 pants were loose on me. Even though it is at the higher end of the range, I do think it was the right goal. I can't see myself being much smaller.
But maybe I should go back with the mindset that I am a regular member trying to get to goal.

Well there you have it!!! You need to journal, journal, JOURNAL!!! What you are doing may be fine for maintenance but if you are looking to lose you really need to keep track Chat Icon In fact anytime you feel yourself letting loose or slipping up go back to week 1 - like Steph said treat it like you are a ww member.

Classes would be a great boost in motivation as well since you love them and miss them Chat Icon Good luck!!!!! You can do it!!!!!!!!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

The best way I found to lose weight is the old fashioned way..diet and exercise (most days out of the week)
