TB In the Office
I was just informed from my Human Resources Department that an employee tested positive for TB and a second employee who was in close proximity to the hospitalized employee has since tested positive for latent TB. I am so nervous about this news. Can someone enlighten me about this disease? And should I be concerned?

Re: TB In the Office
Lots of people test positive and never actually get the disease. I probably wouldn't be concerned unless the person had visible symptoms, particularly coughing. Even then, most TB in the US is highly treatable with antibiotics.
