Re: i have a question for you
WOW I don't have children BUT I wouldn't take the baby out 6 days after it was born, I thought you had to wait until the baby has her/his shots.

Re: i have a question for you
Emma and Jeremy were both out of the house with me at 9 and 11 days respectivly
ETA: if you waited till baby had all their 1st doses of shots it would be months before you were out of the house since they only give 2-3 a month at well checks.

Re: i have a question for you
That's way to soon to expose the baby to alot of people. They don't get a chance to build up their immunes and don't have their shots that early.
I had the baby out at week #2 to take pictures but there wasn't anyone around and I was in and out of the studio.

Re: i have a question for you
I waited at least a mth before taking my son out to meet people. The only reason we went out before the month was up was because he had to go to the doc to get his check up!

Re: i have a question for you
thats what i thought too i would not if i had a baby bring her or him out that early her sister works with me and i said to her which she understood that i thought that was too early for her to bring her baby out because people have germs and the baby's immune system need to build up you dont want the baby to get sick at that young of a age.

Re: i have a question for you
Did she have a reason? A co-worker of mine gave birth at home & a few days later had to bring the baby into Manhattan to the Dr, so on her way back, she stopped in the office.
There were probably fewer germs in the office than in the Dr's office anyway. And she didn't pass him around or anything.
