Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
I been having this pain in my left upper abdomen (right by the rib cage) at least 3 weeks now. It started off as a dull pain now I am getting sharp pains not intense but enough to have me concerned. And today I notice when I **** my stomach in it hurts. I am only 6 weeks. Does anyone have any ideas?

Could be your ligaments stretching...making room for your baby and growing uterus. If you are nervous call your OB.

I had the same exact thing....and still do at 5 1/2 months. In the beginning when I asked, my dr said it definitely was not the baby as the baby was very low. She didn't have much other explanation than to say it's probably your insides making room and shifting around for the baby. It's brutal sometimes!!

I had this in the beginning and still do at 22 weeks - the dr said its all very normal, just stretching to allow room for the baby - your body will go through lots of stretching and changes to make room for baby!
