I cried at a wedding when I heard a song...
I was at a very close friend of the familiy's wedding last night. The song "It's a Wonderful World" came on and Scott asked me to dance. Before he could finish saying it, I started to cry and told him that was the song I danced to with my Dad at my wedding. It's amazing how a song can just trigger a memory or bring you back to a moment. I didn't expect to react like that. This time of year is so difficult.

I always find this time of year the toughest. It will get better
And to be completely honest, the first few weddings I went to after my Dad passed, I would go to the bathroom during any sad songs or Father/Bride dances. You do what you have to do.

It was very unexpected when the song came on and my Dad was like a fther to the guy getting married. It has also been about 9 months since my dad passed away suddenly.

That song makes me cry too- after my fil passed my bil made a dvd of pictures of him and song were on it--that song gets me everytime.
