AF after IVF?

What was your AF like after your failed IVF?

I stopped progesterone on Friday. Then Saturday morning, I woke up to bright red blood. I had what I'd consider a normal CD 1 period that day (going through a few super tampons), but then Sunday I had no bleeding at all - just maybe a little spot, but barely, when I wiped. So far today, nothing either.

Is that normal?

I can't speak to IVF but I do know that for me, the type of period I have is directly related to my uterine lining prior to IUI's. For example on Clomid I had short, light periods due to a thinned out uterine lining but on injectibles I get heavy, longer periods due to thicker wall. So, do you know what your uterine linign was like prior to the IVF? That may give you some insight.

My uterine lining was very thick. It had the triple-stripe or "oreo cookie" appearance as my RE calls it - so I was definitely expecting a heavy, clotty period.

I have had two failed IVFs and my periods were usually heavier and longer after a failed cycle.

I think it depends. After my failed fresh cycle my AF was TERRIBLE. The worst I can remember. After my failed FET I barely had a bleed at all.

after my failed cycle, i had a light period. i think it depends on your uterine lining. mine was not too thick (hence the failed cycle) so there was not too much bleeding.
