So, I'm starting C25K...
I did the first workout today... and I feel great! But, 15 minutes in I still got my itchy legs... I got through it, but I'm concerned that I won't be able to once the runs get longer.
Has anyone else had this problem? My thighs get beet red and very itchy when I run (especially outside). It's really uncomfortable!
Anyone have any tips?
Thanks!

Re: So, I'm starting C25K...
If you are dehydrated, you're sweat will be really concentrated and that would make you itchy. If you ever feel thirsty, you're dehydrated. Or, you could just have dry skin from the cold and the running/sweating makes it irritated. And if you're clothes are baggy that just irritates your legs even more.
I prescribe lotion and water :) This used to happen to me all the time and that's what I did. Just make sure you're not moisturizing right before a workout.

Thanks!
I also just read somewhere to take an antihistamine about 30 minutes before I jog... Hopefully something will work!
I would really like to try this - but don't want to draw blood

I agree with PP. Also, try wearing running tights. They have cold weather ones and they pull the sweat off of your body. They're great!
