Yaz users

Has anyone experienced extreme tiredness and headaches while on yaz?? I actually feel depressed on it.

I know this should be on health

No I haven't, but my girlfriend did and she wound up having high blood pressure and couldn't take them anymore. I would talk to your Dr about it.

I was on it after giving birth to my 2nd DC and I felt terribly depressed. I got off of it as soon as I started noticing that I was feeling that way. (I went through something similar, but much stronger when on DepoProvera, so I knew right away that the hormones were messing with me.)

I did have good results when on Ortho Tri-Cyclen before having DC. Should I decide to go back on BC, that's going to be what I ask my GYN for.

The first month I was on it, I cried at the drop of a hat and was just very emotional in general. But after the first month, I was back to normal - it was strange, it was almost exactly a month. How long have you been on it? If it can make me emotional I'm sure for others it can be headaches and depression -- if it lasts for any period of time I would talk to your doctor.

I was only on it for about six months, but in that time I stared getting intense migraines where the only thing I could do was lay in bed, throw up, or cry for at least two days every two weeks.

I thought i was depressed because of the headaches, and I had just gotten married and was under stress anyway, but it definitely could have been the pills.

My aunt knows someone who had terrible side effects, had to be hospitalized and is still not the same months later. I think the side effects involved issues with her gall bladder and kidneys among other things.

Sorry about what you are going through. It's the worst, I hope you get some relief.
