LEAVE REPLACEMENT POSITION NEEDED - SPECIAL EDUCATION (SECONDARY) AND ENGLISH 7-12 DUAL CERTIFICATION!!!

Hey Everyone!!!

I'm starting my maternity leave shortly (last day is on 12/23) and my district STILL has not been successful with finding my leave replacement. Although it isn't my responsibility to help them in their search, I thought I'd put the posting out here on good 'ole LIF.

If you know of ANYONE who would possibly be interested in applying for this position, PLEASE FM ME and I will give you more information. The position is for the entire second half of the school year (beginning January 5th) and it is rather involved, just to put that out there.

The position entails:
- working in two different secondary schools in the district
- co-teaching in three English 9 collaborative classes (actively co-teaching, not just the special ed teacher "helping" and the gen ed teacher teaching. It requires a great deal of planning time and prep time...)
- teaching two self-contained English classes (10th grade and 11th grade)

The pay is up there on the competitive scale and it's in a large district in South Eastern Nassau County.

PLEASE let me know if you have ANYONE in mind for this position!!!
