How much did your multiples weigh at birth?

I keep reading all these articles that say if I gain more, so will the babies... But, if you don't mind, how much did you gain and how much did your babies weigh? Just trying to see if there's any truth in real life to what I"m reading. I mean, on here, it seems like most people gain 20-50 lbs, whereas in these articles, the women are gaining 60+!!

My twins were 6.5 and 7.6. I only gained 10 lbs, but I was also heavier when I got pregnant. When you are heavier, the dr. doesn't want you to gain a lot of weight and the babies live off of your stored fat!

The best was that I walked out of the hospital weighing less then I did before I got pregnant!

My twins were 5lbs 7oz and 3lbs 14oz.

They were born at 34.5 weeks due to IUGR with the small one.

I gained 35 pounds. My girls were 5lbs and 4lbs 15 ounces. I had a c-section at 34 1/2 weeks due to loss of amniotic fluid.

At my follow up doctor's appt 2 weeks later I had lost all the pregnancy weight.

I gained 40lbs and my boys were 5lbs 1 oz and 6lbs. They were born a month premature due to TTTS issues.

I lost all of the pregnancy weight except 7lbs by the end of the first month. The 7lbs took almost 9 months for me to get rid of. It probably had a lot to do with the ice cream habit I formed during pregnancy. Chat Icon

Re: How much did your multiples weigh at birth?

I gained 40 lbs , had my boys at 37 weeks by c- section and one was 4.3 and the other was 4.15 .... I am still trying to take the weight off , but lost at least 25 lbs 7 months later... My fault though I enjoy eating now that I am a stay at home mom. Food is only a room away.... LOLChat Icon Chat Icon
