I'm surprised this hasn't been discussed yet.

It airs on monday nights at 10. This monday was the first epi. 5 friends. One getting married. they all have to lose at least 30 lbs in 90 days. Jesse Pavelka is their trainer (I happen to love him!)

I really liked it. They do seem to complain a lot, but that can be more for the drama.

The weigh-in was kind of emotional for me. I know...I'm corney But one of them weighs exactly what I weighed on my wedding day (210 lbs) and one weighs exactly what I weighed when I started WW 2 years later (232 lbs). So, it brought back all of those memories of how I felt when I got weighed. I really could feel what those girls were feeling.

So, I recommend you check it out and if you didn't see the first one, maybe you can somehow catch the rerun.

Yeah I watched it. Honestly, not the biggest fan. Jesse (although hot ) is WAY too nice of a person for me. I like tough trainers...like say...oh I don't know...Jillian Michaels

I will definitely be DVRing it every week to keep up with it! I just hope these girls change by the end of the 90 days. They seem like they are getting their teeth pulled and that they don't really want this - ya know what I mean?

YES! I know exactly what you mean. Don't get me wrong, I had my times where I complained. And, it IS hard. But you signed up for this. That one girl is doing it half arse then says she was a PT.

I think Jesse is nice but he looks like he could be tough. Don't forget-it's still the beginning. I hate Jillian though <<ducking the flames>> . Jesse is kind of like my Kurt. He's nice...but he doesn't take any bullcrap complaints.

But they need to stop thinking about their fast food. That is so annoying.

Yeah totally. It IS hard, of course! I could not believe that girl was a PT!!! I was like

I thought this show was so cute and I am going to tivo the whole season. It's just so nice they are doing it together and I can't wait to see their transformations. Also, I have a group of "potluck girls" where we get together to eat a lot. So it's nice if we can be inspired to eat healthier.
