Re: Those who lost the baby weight...
I lost about 60lbs and gained 59. I didn't change a thing - I still eat like I'm pregnant, but I'm still nursing and it's almost 10 months later.
One day (after baby #2 likely), I'll try to tone up!

Re: Those who lost the baby weight...
I was VERY LUCKY. I lost it without really trying or doing anything. I gained 32 lbs throughout the pregnancy - when I left the hospital I only had about 8 to go. It came off within a few mths on its own. Ive always been slender though.

Re: Those who lost the baby weight...
Well I gained 65 pounds!! I lost it when my son was 6 months. Lifting the baby and always being on the move. I really did nothing tried not to over eat. I still can loose about 5 pounds but who couldn't right!

Re: Those who lost the baby weight...
I'm 3.5 weeks PP. I gained 45 lbs during my pregnancy. I gained a lot of the weight during the 3rd trimester due to severe swelling. I haven't been on the scale in several days, but the last time I checked, I was 5 lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight. I think BFing is helping a lot. Also, DS wants to be held all of the time so I don't have much time to eat.

Re: Those who lost the baby weight...
I was normal weight prior to pregnancy and in good shape and continued to exercise throughout my pregnancy - I gained 30lbs start to finish. I honestly can't remember when I reached the point of being exactly at my pre-preg weight. Like you I BF and did not restrict calories until after I stopped completely (10 mos pp) however, I was back to my pre preg weight I think by 9 mos just by eating very healthy. Now at 16 mos PP i am still at my pre-preg weight - however, although I stay active and try to fit in some exercise here and there while watching DS - I do not exercise nearly 1/10 of what I did before - its just not that much of a priority to me at this point in my life that I will sacrifice time with DS and DH to do it. SOOOOOOOO like others have posted my body is NOWHERE near what it was before despite being at the same weight And lifting a 16 mo old - in fact I rocked him most of the night until he was 10 mos old did NOTHING for my biceps

Re: Those who lost the baby weight...
by about 5 months I was back into my jeans and they fit loose. I am still BFing, so I am not sure how much help I can be. My DH & I just joined a gym today, so next week I am going to "TRY" and see how Kailey will do staying in their daycare while I tone my BUTT!

Re: Those who lost the baby weight...
I gained 50 pounds while pregnant - I BF for 6 months and then joined 2 months ago (I shoud say REjoined) Weight Watchers. Now at 10 months pp I have lost all the baby weight and a few extra for good measure

A year after I had Jared I was too skinny (10 pounds below my regular weight) and had to gain a little to look "normal" again. I know, I know...poor me. But I really wasn't healthy (or healthy looking)at that weight. This is where I am now - at just about 7 months PP. I lost all the weight and then some. I've always been very thin and was hoping to hold onto at least 10lbs (from the pregnancy) but it seems breastfeeding has literally sucked my arse off

Re: Those who lost the baby weight...
I didnt really start till my daughter was about 14 months old. It took me about 3 months to loose 30 pounds but I did it and I am so happy.
Good luck!

Re: Those who lost the baby weight...
I began working out at 4 mts post partum, and really my body didn't come back until after his 1st bday. It will never be what it was before, but I worked out everyday. Now I work out 3-4 times a week, and that is carving time out of my life as it is.....
