Waking up and feeling hungry and shaky

Does this happen to anyone else?

I notice that if I dont eat every few hours I also get shaky. I went to the dr. a few days ago and they are going to check my sugar levels. Part of it is b/c my appetite hasn't been great the past couple of weeks, a combination of anxiety and being pregnant in the 2nd month. But I hate this feeling. It only used to happen occasionally during the day if I went too long without eating, now it is happening to me when I wake up in the morning.

two things come to mind. Blood sugar and thyroid.
